What’s next?

I know I have not done a pattern in a very long time but if I was to start up drafting once more what doll and what styles would you like to see?

I have patterns that are incomplete for Gene, Kitty, Tiny Kitty, Barbie, and Urban Vita. Most of the styles are historic and I am wondering if a sci-fi or cyber punk or even Game of Thrones inspired patterns would be welcome…. Kelly as Arya Stark perhaps? Tiny Kitty Collier as Cersi Lanister? Urban Vita as Melissandre? I have precious few men dolls but I could do a male Dollfie as Jamie Lanister in armor or Rob Stark or John Snow. I guess you can guess what I’m a fan of.  Other ideas might be The Musketeers or other favorite shows.

I am staying away from miniatures for the moment as I have issues with super fine motor skills that I hope will resolve this summer.

Anyone want to offer up doll/costume combos?

Who are the popular dolls?

cropped-Collages2.jpgSo, curiosity gets me here… who are the popular dolls? Barbie, Bratz, Monster High, Gene, Kitty & Tiny Kitty come to mind. Tiny Betsy, Betsy and American Girls too but what about baby dolls? I have several nekkid baby dolls my now 13 yr old doesn’t want and am contemplating 2 roads… dress them and sell patterns for them or donate them locally. In particular two are Zaph Baby Borns, one a soft body and one a hard body, drink & wet doll.

I love dolls and have a hard time parting with them for any reason but I guess my teen has decided to “grow up”.

So who are your favorite dolls?
